A natural way to nurture, strengthen and harmonise body, mind & spirit.
Tai Chi Chuan was originally a martial art, and still is, it has also been proven to be beneficial for health too. In addition, people now understand that Tai Chi can be used as an effective tool for personal growth and developement if practised correctly.
Our classes aim to maintain quality, tradition and authenticity.
The three pillars of this internal art: centralising Chi – vital energy – , circulating Chi and applying Chi, are at the core of our transmission of traditional Yang Tai Chi Chuan.
Classes start with meditation Chi kung, followed by taoïst stretching exercises, form practise and applied Tai Chi through partner work. Finishing with settling breathing exercises.
No fuss or secrets here. At the start we’ll guide you to experience and feel Chi – internal energy -. Also to be able to express Chi.
Tai Chi is an internal art where softness overcomes hardness.
At an ultimate stage, hardness is softness.
We believe in developing a friendly supportive learning environment in our classes.
We expect everyone who practise in our Mo Kwoon – training hall – to behave accordingly to our etiquette. For those not familiar with martial code of conduct it comes down to this : Care for others, grow together, push yourself.
We teach beginners the joy of practice and the understanding of their body and being through a unique and essential experience.
We fuel our seasoned student’s interest for a regular and rigorous practice harmonised with their most profound being.
To take part, no particular level of fitness is required.
Languages spoken : French, Nederlands, English, Spanish.
